The Islamic Republic is continuing its war on the people of Iran. But Iranians are fighting back.

Yesterday in Esfahan, citizens noticed the regime was preparing for a barbaric public execution. Reports circulated that the regime was set to hang three protesters from the January 8/9 uprising.

At dawn, hundreds of brave Iranians gathered in the square to protest this medieval brutality and public murder. They jeered and shouted at the executioners. Sadly as the call to prayer played, two young men were hung from cranes.

Security forces chased the protesters, firing on them with live ammunition, trying to kill more and more Iranians.

The murder of protesters and other political prisoners are often done in prisons. But the regime, fearing the Iranian people will rise against them, is conducting them in public in an attempt to intimidate them into silence.

Untold other brave protesters are currently facing a similar fate. Their lives hang in the balance.

This is two Irans: the vile and evil Islamic Republic against the brave and heroic people of Iran.

Iranians will not back down. They will fight. But they should not have to fight alone. The world must back these brave men and women.

🔴 Germany's publicly funded state broadcaster (ÖRR) - which I am forced to pay €18 a month for it, or I'll go to prison - is once again pushing propaganda that helps the regime justify the Islamic Republic's mass murder of Iranians.

▪️For years, it has promoted narratives favorable to the regime and hostile to the Iranian opposition, aided by regime lobbyists such as Ali Fathollah-Nejad [1], as well as Natalie Amiri and Isabel Schayani. You'll find my previous posts documenting the broadcaster's false reporting below [2].

▪️More recently, it pushed the narrative that all social media accounts supporting Crown Prince @PahlaviReza are bots - even though the "study" those reports relied on does not support that claim [3].

▪️Now it has released a three-part series. It covers many topics, but where is the focus? That Iranians inside Iran are Mossad agents. That narrative is based on the statement of a single person.

▪️@mrym0me has repeatedly documented how the broadcaster interviews regime loyalists while presenting them as ordinary Iranians [4].

Taken together, this forms a clear pattern: opposition supporters on social media are portrayed as bots, while opposition supporters inside Iran are portrayed as Mossad agents. That, in turn, helps legitimize the regime's massacres, executions, and repression.

Many people in Germany are calling for this propaganda apparatus to be abolished or, at the very least, for its funding to become voluntary rather than compulsory. I support that position.
