@kpkiwoong@Revenge_of_Khan@guideforlovers Losing family is the only thing that makes me cry. Less than a month after I got married at 19, my father passed away. He was my closest friend as well as my mentor. I cried the most for his death. Nothing else makes me cry though probably due to what I see daily.
@Philosaphree All depends on the drink. There’s a wine that I love that has a low alcohol content and is very sweet. I drink it because it’s sweet and tastes good, not to get drunk.
@LynneTagawa@aimeeterese You don’t want to court a person who might be abusive when in marriage. Hence why you should spend time with them to get to know them before marriage. (2
@LynneTagawa@aimeeterese Why not date instead of courtship? From what I understand, courtship is where you’re with one person and have plans to be married. It’s not always wise to marry the first person you see. It’s wise to spend time with them to see their traits/character. (1
@a93886613@IsabellaMDeLuca And Christianity has always been this way. Read the Bible and Jesus’ teachings. The only time Christianity has been used for violence was because of the corruption of man. (2
@Chrissy85883212@IsabellaMDeLuca How do I know Jesus would do this? Because this is exactly what he did to an adulterous woman who was supposed to be stoned. Follow Jesus’ example and you’ll never be led astray. (2
@Chrissy85883212@IsabellaMDeLuca The Bible calls us to judge righteously. That’s what I’m doing to you by saying your behavior is not Christ like. You know what Jesus would do to this women in response to her behavior? He’d point out her wrong doings, forgive her, and tell her to go and sin no more. (1
@Chrissy85883212@IsabellaMDeLuca With all due respect as a fellow Christian, it’s not just liberals. Many on right act the same. This woman will be judged by God and so will you. You’re not a Christian at all according to you actions. I pray you change and repent. May God have mercy on your soul.
@Act_of_Todd @IsabellaMDeLuca Should she face some consequences? Yes. But her life shouldn’t be ruined. Just like ours wasn’t ruined when we did stupid things. We also didn’t have our stupid actions documented on social media. (2
@Act_of_Todd @IsabellaMDeLuca So her life should be ruined because she made a dumb decision? How many dumb decisions did you make growing up? I myself made many. I did various drugs. Weed, cocaine, and shrooms were all common to me. Thankfully I was given the opportunity to learn from my mistakes and change(1
@PLHoust@IsabellaMDeLuca It’s not even a “left” versus “right” thing. She’s just a young adult with an underdeveloped brain. Young adults make incredibly stupid decisions regularly because they don’t know any better. Teach them a lesson sure, but don’t ruin their life because of the ignorance of youth.
@ColoradoWarhawk@ryanharvey@IsabellaMDeLuca Then you also shouldn’t trust 99% of people working in any field. A mailman just kidnapped and raped a little girl less than 2 weeks ago in my area. A mailman….
@thisisfoster There are so many traumatic and depressing situations that I deal with every time I go to work in Fire/EMS. So yes, when I come home I need time to decompress in order to switch from the work to home mindset. My wife doesn’t need to hear about those things. (2
@thisisfoster I’m a husband myself. No children yet currently. I need time to decompress personally. Why? I deal with some of the worst and most depressing situations at work. I see people losing their homes/livelihoods, people being seriously injured, people dying, parents losing their kids.
