On a monumental day for the Miami Hurricanes football program, just want to take a moment and thank the one man who won’t get to taste the glory but who single handedly started it all and put Miami back on the map: Cameron freaking Ward.

Cam Ward died for Miami’s sins.

If Cam doesn’t come to Miami, there’s no 10-2, no Carson Beck, no Malachi Toney.

Certainly no playoff birth.

Lots of other factors came into play. Of course Mario. And Francis. And Bain.

But Cam was the 🔌.

Believed in a 7-5 Hurricanes squad. Saw something others couldn’t.

2025 might be the year we made it, but 2024 was the year it started.
