A call for action, change is needed and our voices must be heard.
I have been working with like minded doctors behind the UK graduate prioritisation petition, I am in full support of the stances and demands.

the problem with their 'serious financial position' is we've all watched horrific amounts of money chasing short term wins over long term infrastructure + we know how much time is lost daily to inefficiency so the argument just doesn't hold water
LNC chairs being called in to be told of 'just how serious our financial position is' up and down the country. Sounding pretty system wide. Message to trusts; "if you haven't got the money then you can't have the work". It's a *national* health service, not run on staff subsidy.
@juliaisobela omg I saw this post on my tl earlier but didn't connect the dots until I saw the flag pic that I was one of these doctors, so glad you're having a good time here!
@Tim_van_Hasselt i've just started st1 on neonates straight from foundation and I have to try so hard not to answer 'hello, surgical sho' and surgery wasn't even my last job
@doctor_dru_ I found the same! snarky comments about the work life balance or having to deal with parents like either way I'll be working with adults just this way I get the cute kids alongside
@gmedemma everyone I know who's worked there has really enjoyed it, if it helps! I'm in worcester so see lots of comparisons from the ones who came here for f2
@KatPaton13 the thing that's really been bugging me is I KNOW there's doctors moving out of where I'm moving to at the exact time I want to move in but we don't have any kind of network to like trade leases
jumped through hoops to get study leave approved, collated all my files, got my certificates, now can't apply for reimbursement because the site is hostile and the maximum file size is miniscule. i'm exhausted. this pdf was sent to me BY THE MED ED TEAM
@propofoletal I think it should say the name of the specialty rather than the specialist - it's important to know that the FY2 is in the surgical team but we're unlikely to be happy calling ourselves surgeons
