CBX–INB100 Contract Dispute

1. Contract Termination Notice
Between March and April 2026, Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin (CBX) notified INB100 that they were terminating their exclusive contracts.

According to reports, CBX cited issues including unpaid contract deposits and settlement payments. INB100 did not accept the termination, leading CBX to pursue legal action.

2. Legal Action

After INB100 did not accept the termination, CBX took the matter to court.

On August 18, 2026, CBX filed a provisional injunction requesting that the effect of their exclusive contracts with INB100 be suspended.

They also filed a main lawsuit seeking confirmation that the exclusive contracts are invalid.

In simple terms:

•Injunction: asks the court to temporarily suspend the effect of the contracts.
•Main lawsuit: asks the court to make a final determination on whether the contracts are legally valid.

3. Cha Ga-won's Detention and INB100's Response

INB100 representative Cha Ga-won was detained and indicted in August on allegations of fraud involving more than 30 billion won.

During the September 7 hearing, CBX's legal representatives told the court that Cha had been detained and that they had been unable to contact him since the injunction was filed.

CBX's side also stated that INB100 had not submitted written materials in response to the injunction.

4. First Hearing — September 7, 2026

The Seoul Central District Court's Civil Division 50 held the first hearing for CBX's injunction application on September 7.

No representative from INB100 appeared, and the hearing ended in less than 10 minutes.

The court has not yet issued a decision on the injunction. The case therefore remains pending.

5. What Happens Next?

If the court grants the injunction, the effect of CBX's exclusive contracts would be suspended while the main lawsuit is being decided.

However, an injunction would not itself constitute a final ruling that the contracts are invalid. That question will be determined through the main lawsuit.
