JUST IN: Mexican drug lord Ricardo González Sauceda, also known as "El Ricky," has been arrested in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico amid Trump's calls for Mexico to take out cartel leaders.

Gunfights have reportedly broken out in Nuevo Laredo after the arrest.

"He is the leader of a group that generates violence and operates in Nuevo León, Tamaulipas, and Coahuila; he is linked to extortion and multiple attacks on Fuerza Civil police officers in Nuevo León," said Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection Omar García Harfuch.

Government officials are being told to "shelter in place" as sh**tings throughout the city escalate.

El Ricky is the leader of "Cartel del Noreste" who just yesterday attacked soldiers in Nuevo Laredo, according to @blogdelnarcomex.
