Teenager stopped 6 times in 5 months and, as a result, there are 8 police officers being investigated . While IOPC ponder this, here's a reminder of what is found. If we have to search a lot of innocent people to find this stuff? Sorry but it's the price of safety.

That moment when a local ‘drifter’ gets stopped by #ARV and dealt with for a defective tyre but the driver felt he was dealt with unfavourably so reports to see #RPU

Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley has called for reform of the way police officers are held to account, particularly when they use force or undertake pursuits in the course of their duties.

Officers need a system that judges their actions rooted in integrity and decisions reached swiftly, competently and without fear or favour. A system which commands the confidence of officers and the communities they serve.

Of course, where wrongdoing takes place the public officers to be held to the highest standards and the use of force must be no exception.

@PeterBleksley @CollegeofPolice @PoliceChiefs As many have said, I'd love to see you turn this particular officer away because of their hairstyle when you're victim of a serious assault/ burglary etc. Respectfully, who cares about his hairstyle? He's out there doing a brilliant job.

A bobby who risks his life each time he puts on that stab vest...is being judged for choosing a hairstyle.... by someone who really should not have a say about hair.... okay!

This call to 999 was about the noise being generated by a police helicopter. They were searching for a missing women who was later found with serious injuries to her arms.
