@nolan_mcbride It’s one of the few games I’ve been following through its development. It will be ten years since DA:I in November, so this year wasn’t unexpected, but it was at the early end of the expected time range. Next summer was the latest.

My thoughts on “Fall 2024” release date. September is too soon not to share a specific date or the month broadly. November/December is usually deemed “holiday season” for releases. Therefore, October is the nebulous “fall” when announced in June. Yes, this is about Dragon Age.

I cannot not say anything about this situation, but I do not want to make it about me or my feelings. Being in contact with only one member of my family, I didn’t learn until two hours ago that my nephew committed a horrific act this past weekend.

@Xzyliac @TrashFuckerDog I’m sitting here listening to my kid talk with their friends about Portal and sharing their Portal art as a thing in Roblox and wearing this shirt, and I think you two would be so proud how much you have influenced them.

In late spring, I spent my active time playing The Sims 4. I still mostly laid idly in the glow of YouTube videos, but I had a sliver of my sense of humor the moment I named my tetra fish If Zelda Were a Girl. I still think it’s funny.

Montgomery, Alabama authorities address the brawl:

- The captain of the riverboat remained away from the dock for 40-45 minutes because the private boat was blocking
- The owners of the boat confronted the co-captain of the riverboat, were obscene and aggressive. “He was doing his job.”
- 13 people were detained, but were ultimately released.
- Richard Roberts , 48, white male, warrant for assault 3rd
- Allen Todd, white male, one warrant pending
- Zachary Shipman, 25, white male, one warrant pending
- These are misdemeanor charges
- All of the warrants are for the owners of the private boat.
-One is in custody, two are set to turn themselves in.
- Reggie Gray, the man wielding the folding chair, is being asked to contact the police department.
-The investigation is ongoing and more charges are likely.

Just a little more than an hour until Charlie can play Tears of the Kingdom. It might be two weeks until their birthday, but this child had a shitty week. Today’s event was so shitty I had to get them from school early.

Context for the image: She asked me “How does it feel to have a mind of a 12 year old?” because she was wrong and butt hurt about it and couldn’t admit either thing. The frog and mouse are relevant to the conversation and for my 12yo mind’s amusement.
