A great day that started with hearing Deneze speak about Indigenizing Education. It was a privilege to speak on this topic as well as share information about @SpiritBear. Mahsi Cho for the opportunity.
This quote from @DrJCarrington reminds me of what @ltldrum said at the NWTTA’s conference - “When we see a gift that someone is blessed with, we speak their truth for them”. I have always tried to do this for my students, but this year I need to call my shot and act on my dream.
I have TWO extra class sets of Nat the Cat Takes a Nap that need new homes. I’m giving away one here and one on Instagram!

Also so great - listening to @AdrienneGear and her ideas on inspiring thinking. Such great, practical strategies that I will use Monday, but my favourite line- “A struggling decoder is not a struggling thinker.” Make the learning equal - love that!! #nwttaconference
My heart is filled with happiness listening to @ltldrum at the opening keynote today. “When we see a gift that someone is blessed with, we speak their truth for them”. I hope I got that right so inspiring!! #mahsicho#nwttaconference
