Family Breakers like Smriti Singh should marry men raised in orphanages, since they are only interested in the husband and are hostile to the very existence of his parents, sisters and brothers.

They do not deserve to be welcomed as bahus in any snaskari family because their agenda is to tear asunder the husband's ties with his loved ones..

Too many young women are trained by their parents to treat in laws as expendable creatures to be got got rid of at the earliest.
Capt Anshuman Singh's parents invested their all --not only in money terms but boundless love and care to raise a national hero like Anshuman.

By contrast, Smriti had ZERO contribution in shaping Anshuman's career or his patriotic zeal.

She behaved like a fortune hunter--no time to even complete the rituals connected with the last rites of her husband, leave alone share the grief of his parents.

By her own account, in their brief five month long marital life, all she got is boundless pampering from her husband.
And yet as soon as she got the big money due to a Shaurya Chakra awardee's family, she scooted off to Australia--possibly to trap another rich and handsome man.

The plight of grief stricken parents, especially those who are very poor and yet invest everyting in their son's education and career, deserves serious attention given the unscruplous ways in which daughters-in-law are behaving these days.

Govt needs to change the rules at once-- the right of parents to pension & monetary benefits should not be compromised. They should at least get half the pension and benefits.

And if the young wife remarries, her pension should be stopped altogether.

For parents there is no substitute for the lost son.

But young wives without children find easy substitutes for the dead husband these days.
