It's only been 1 day of CES 2025, and the announcements have already been incredible.
The 10 most impressive reveals of CES 2025 so far:
1. A 360° AI-powered body scanning health mirror that can scan your heart, weight, and metabolic health
Dear @cars24india .. I signed up on your platform to sell my car, 7 years ago. What makes you think I haven't been able to sell it yet? You're still asking me if I want to sell it and sending 'fantastic' deals every few days 😅
@Manushree@di_shawarma It would be very helpful for you to listen to, and accept other people's experiences, instead of adding your assumptions everywhere. "There may be bad experiences for everyone" - true for women living in NCR. The narrative of 'Delhi is unsafe' is old, but still very relevant
So heartbreaking to even listen to this interview.
Impossible that this crime doesn't involve people with political influence.
A common Indian will keep asking for justice, while people with money and power will get away with the worst of crimes 💔
#WATCH | Delhi | Water is being pumped out as it enters the building of the Institute of Town Planners India. Delhi received heavy rainfall and the national capital is witnessing waterlogging issues at several places.
The original tweet has some real gems as responses!
One I love:
"It actually doesn't take much to be considered a difficult woman. That's why there are so many of us." - Jane Goodall.
@Giridhar_Raju@ParinM It depends on what the assignment is. Not everything is 2+2. In the world of marketing and advertising, many companies give assignments, get new ideas, implement them, without the need to hire the candidate(s). So no, giving an assignment is not always a useful solution.
@_ShaliniSingh_@andwemet1 It might be archaic in today's day and age. But if is okay for men to expect women to be the sole caretakers of their home, family and kids, I guess we can make space for women's expectations too?
@JashneRekhta doing a decent job of making Urdu popular. But pls make it a ticketed event! The crowd was crazy, unmanaged, and many didn't care about the language or poetry. Probably came for the stars or the food.
Also include more books of women authors at the stall!
Experienced new 4am sounds in an Indian train:
1. Bhajans (one uncle has decided that it is the right time for everyone to hear his choice of Bhajans on full volume)
2. Old couple arguing if it is 6am or 4am (aunty has checked the time but uncle trusts his 'gut feel' more)
Not my friend telling me how she was walking alone at 9pm and some boys approached her on a bike and said “aap Akeli ja rahi hain, hum aap ko drop kardein?” To which she replied “JAB MEIN ZINDA THI TAB BHI AKELI JAATI THI”, they ran away in 5 secs. CRYING😭
It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that Aug 15, 1992 changed Indian cinema forever.
This was the day when Mani Ratnam’s Roja was released. This also marked the debut of the musical storm from Madras.
Sit back, relax, grab coffee & headphones.
A thread🧵on @arrahman's music!
Indian Diwali on Twitter: Influencers asking what people received as Diwali gift from office.
Followers applying for jobs to every org which gave good gifts 😂
