Please help me with my excess amount refund that I paid on booking a flight for dec 6 from del - mum. As per the new government announcement, the capping figures are given and excess amount is being refunded. @AirIndiaX
@AirIndiaX Every message of yours had a different narrative which clearly means you are finding excuses for NOT paying. It started with- statement is of air india, then my booking was made later, then it was made as per guidelines. Please stick to one excuse and be upfront n say u wont pay.
@AirIndiaX It was not capped. Like you have fetched other details please see the extra amount you have charged me for my one way ticket from del- mum. It is way beyond the capped figure given by the government. @AAI_Official@MoCA_GoI
@AirIndiaX Hello
It clearly states as per government rule that the excess fare amount needs to be refunded of tickets booked during transition period and mine was booked during transition period- dec 5.
Fyi transition period starts dec 4

@AirIndiaX You don't even have my booking reference nor PNR how do u know it was booked as per guidelines. I booked it way more than the guidelines given by government in the transition period post 4 dec.
@AirIndiaX The government announces it earlier too and not now as mentioned by you then why you not refunding and contradicting your statement ?

#ImportantUpdate
In compliance with the Ministry of Civil Aviation's (MoCA) directive issued on the evening of 6 December regarding the capping of Economy Class base fares, Air India Group commenced the rollout of the new prescribed fares across its reservation systems immediately. Air India Express completed the implementation across its systems, while Air India continues to progressively apply the fare caps, which will be fully effective in the next few hours.
As the process involves third-party system dependencies, a phased rollout is required to ensure accuracy and stability without disrupting guest bookings.
Guests who may have booked Air India flights in Economy Class during the transition period, at base fares above the prescribed caps, are entitled to refunds of the differential amounts.
