BEGINNING OF DAY 8 OF MY #CLIMATEFAST
Today temperatures plumetted to - 10° C
due to clear skies.
Undeterred dozens of people are sleeping in the open not only here with me but also in border villages.
However shepherds from the border village of Phobrang were stopped by the security forces roughly 15 kms before the pastures they used to roam freely till few years ago. This gives an idea of the loss of their pastures on the Indo-China border

The state of Ladakh's environment is something we should all be deeply concerned about .W' the ever-changing climate, it's crucial that we recognize the significance of preserving this fragile region n i think we have the power to make a positive impact using social media.
As an agriculture student , being so connected to nature, it really hurts to witness the irresponsibility towards what's happening in Ladakh right now. It breaks my heart to see ppl sacrificing their health to be heard and they shouldn't go this far .
Otherwise, we won't be able to protect younger generations from self-destruction and even society as a whole. We won't be able to protect "humanity"from things that wasn't supposed to present in a society. Let's think about it a bit friends..
Peace💔🙌
Not only teenagers and adults, kids of age 7-8 years engage in things like gang activity which later on lead em to violence, bullying and many more...This is sth v important issue that need to be address whatsoever..
Seeing everyday there is a new story of young ppl engaging into so many unlawful acts, especially in Leh is so heart-wrenching coz ppl there r known for humbleness and compassionate act and what is going on rn is sth v' opposite of it.
