Data shows that the dropout rate among SC/ST students was disproportionately high in the IITs, IISERs...
- If 100 ST students joined in a period, 4.4 drop out. However among all students the drop out rate is 2.5.
- Of 100 admissions, 9 are ST while of 100 dropouts 16 are ST
