In an exclusive conversation with Danish Khan (@DanishKh4n) at India Mobile Congress 2026, Neha Idnani, Regional Vice President APAC, Eutelsat and Director, OneWeb India, said the company has completed licensing formalities and is working with authorities on security clearances.

She added that the company is now in the “last leg” of regulatory work before launching services in India, with infrastructure already ready for deployment.

Idnani also spoke about OneWeb’s plans across B2B, maritime, aviation, defence, mining and cellular backhaul, while saying direct-to-device remains under evaluation.
