@martin_miller07 The author mentioned in an afterword that Sara was deliberately written as "a girl Rudeus would never fall in love with." Their relationship naturally progressed because of the circumstances, but even if that night had gone successfully, they were ultimately destined to break up.

@anneth_arc I think Rudeus could probably convince Eris to accept up to one concubine (most likely be Sylphie in this case). Won't be an easy conversation though.
He'd get beaten up for sure and probably more than once. Totally deserve it tbh.

@Edagzy21 Well she hurt Ruby first and Rudy hurt her back. They were both immature and regretted, but sometimes things just don't work out.

You may like to know that they do get a chance to reconcile years later and Sara will finds her own happiness, better for her than being with Rudy.
