“But I got out, managed to escape with luck, couldn’t come to you though, it wasn’t safe, they were searchin’ for me for a while.”
Thats when Beth’s eyes found Hershel, who was standing behind Maggie, an eyebrow raised and she tilted her head.
“Who’s the kid?”
Beth thought back on her time, the few years she spent away, the things she had yet to tell Maggie.
“There was a hospital, I was taken there, said they were helpin’ me but I couldn’t leave.” Beth sighed as she remembered everything. +
she held her so tight , as if she let go she would just … disappear .
however , the hug ended only when beth herself pulled away , a huge smile highlighting her features even though tears were streaming down upon her cheeks .
“ uh — just … travelin’ around . w- what … how —
Her prayers were answered as soon she heard the footsteps from behind her, Beth grabbed the knife she had in her pocket, spinning around quickly, she came face to face with the woman she thought she would never see again, Maggie. Tears welling up in her eyes.
“Maggie..?”
Maggie, her sister, she never forgot, never let herself forget, everyday she would remind herself of their memories, but it had been so long she was starting to forget what her voice sounded like, she hoped she was alive, that she was okay, she wanted to see her again.
