Excellent News ~ Poland Bans Fur Farming‼️

Poland President Karol Nawrocki has signed the legislation into force today, making Poland the 23rd European country to ban fur farming. As Europe's top fur producer with Mink, Fox, Chinchilla and Raccoon Dog farms housing around 3.4 million animals, this is a significant signal to the EU as it considers a Union-wide ban.

“Moments ago, I signed the Animal Protection Act, which introduces a ban on fur farming in Poland” – says Karol Nawrocki, President of Poland. “This is a decision that Poles have awaited for many years. A decision that reflects our compassion, our civilizational maturity, and our respect for all living creatures.”

We are devastated to confirm the death of our own, Spc. Sarah Beckstrom, who was shot in the line of duty near the Farragut Square Metro Station Wednesday. Spc. Beckstrom was pronounced dead at MedStar Washington Hospital on Nov. 27, by wounds incurred during the shooting.
