#Alpha has been watched and as an origin story it is perfect. Introducing 2 new characters in the Spy universe in a subtle manner will benefit the upcoming big projects. Alia and sharvari both were commendable.

watched #Alpha again & I loved it even more than I did the first time. It's such an entertaining watch with some really well executed action, strong emotional moments, and a refreshing attempt at doing something different within the spy genre. Yes, the film could've been better in a few areas, but what works, really works. I could honestly watch #AliaBhatt's entry scene over & over again without ever getting bored & as I said earlier, the hand to hand combat sequences are genuinely some of the film's biggest strengths. Huge credit to Shiv for directing those action scenes so well.

As for the negativity, I think it became a secondary factor. In my show, the occupancy was around 65-70%, and people were genuinely enjoying the film. Families and youngsters were cheering, laughing & having a great time throughout.

imo the biggest problem, was the release date. It got sandwiched between two of the biggest comedy sequels, and that's what hurt its box office the most. I blame YRF for that decision. If the same film, even with all the paid negativity and the 1.5-star review drama, had released during Bakrid when there was barely any movie release, the story would've been very different.

In short, people who are actually watched Alpha are enjoying it and recommending it to others. The negativity did have some impact, but the release timing was the biggest reason it couldn't reach the numbers it deserved!

Alpha Full Review :-

I genuinely loved #Alpha. Barring a few shots in the climax & few dialogues, I had a great time watching it.

The second half is just as engaging as the first. The emotional and character driven conversations between Alia Bhatt, Sharvari, and Anil Kapoor are surprisingly well-written and leave a strong impact. Alia's acting, attitude, screen presence, and intensity stand out throughout the film. From her entry to the climax, she completely owns the screen and delivers one of her most powerful performances.

As Sita and Durga, Alia & Sharvari share excellent chemistry. Their hand-to-hand combat sequence is, in my opinion, the best I've ever seen in Indian cinema. It feels raw, intense, and beautifully choreographed. Almost every hand to hand fight and action sequence is top-notch and keeps you invested.

The only action scene that didn't completely work for me was Kabir's cameo fight. That said, Kabir's screen presence is absolutely phenomenal. The moment he appears, he completely commands the screen with his charisma, swag, and aura. Even with limited screen time, he leaves a lasting impact and reminds you why he's one of the most iconic characters in the YRF Spy Universe.

The Sita vs. Fateh hand-to-hand combat sequence is another major highlight and is executed brilliantly.

The songs are okay overall, but Haniya Ve and Massacre are visually stunning. Both Alia and Sharvari look gorgeous, and I genuinely couldn't take my eyes off Alia in both the songs.

Sharvari as Durga looks gorgeous throughout the film and has a strong screen presence. She performs well in both the emotional and action scenes.

Anil Kapoor as Kaul delivers a solid performance. His scenes with Alia and Sharvari are well-executed & add emotional weight to the story.

Bobby Deol as Fateh is a convincing antagonist with a strong screen presence. His Haryanvi accent worked well for me and suited the character.

Overall, I had a fantastic time with the film. It's an entertaining action thriller with strong performances, stylish action, and plenty of crowd pleasing moments. It's not a perfect movie, but it's absolutely worth watching if you're looking for a fun big-screen experience.

I'll definitely be watching it again, especially for my sunshine, @aliaa08 ♥️

P.S. - as a regular moviegoer, I absolutely loved this film. It's a perfect popcorn entertainer, and I genuinely think most audiences will enjoy it. Don't believe all the negativity surrounding it, it honestly feels like a paid campaign to me, it's definitely not a 1.5-star movie in my opinion!

#Alpha may have an average storyline but still is the most visually stunning film. Not just the visuals but has one the best ever action set pieces ever for female oriented films. Both Alia, Sharvari and Anil Kapoor was too good.
