Our agronomists, Sonia and Grace, have gone through the first ryegrass counts at our early sown pre-em site, despite facing some pretty dry conditions. Stay tuned for updates from our later sown pre-em trial as well, featuring some intriguing tank mixes and post-ems!

We’re starting our volatilisation trial in the paddock, using PVC pipes and sponges to measure ammonia losses. Each week, we’ll swap out the sponges and send them off for analysis. Stay tuned!

@kyranbrooks @GorstRural Only the dam area was waterlogged! It is obvious that the rest of the paddock was a sprayer mishap…

Thanks to the @BarenbrugAUS crew for helping us cut our pasture site. So far the highest wet weight for the annuals is Hogan, perennials was 9.2 diploid (Vicseeds),and Shogun for the hybrids.
