+1. Prof Waddams had the most contagious passion for law and what it could be. He was (obv) brilliant but humble, always kind, endlessly patient, and so eager to hear views from students. He made me love contracts
@PamHrick@SimuLiu@kalpenn@realsarahpolley Seconding Know My Name if you haven't read it! Also really enjoyed Crying in H-Mart and My Body (the latter is more of an essay collection)
Very happy to have contributed to this open access, plain language resource for lawyers and non-lawyers alike with @RobCenta & @tinahlie! We wrote about summary judgment (βwhatβs that?β you say? Now you can find out!)

Thanks so much for all the kind messages β€οΈ The best part of the last week has been hearing from so many people who loved my grandfather and sharing stories of him with those who never had the chance to meet him.
My grandfather died yesterday after 9 days of at-home palliative care. It was the hardest week of my life. But I am so lucky to have had him as long as I did and to have gotten the chance to repay just a bit of the love he has given me all my life.
When I was growing up, I didnβt have babysitters, I had my grandparents. My grandpa braided my hair every day, bought me enough hairpins to groom an army of pre-teens, and was more excited than anyone when I went to law school. I miss him very much. Good thoughts are appreciated.
