I've given a clean-up to the first colour photograph of the Arctic, which was taken in 1910 by Adolf Miethe, who had travelled on the airship Zeppelin to a wild archipelago in the Arctic Ocean, located halfway between mainland Norway and the North Pole. The area was later claimed by Norway in 1925 and named "Svalbard". The photo was taken using a three-colour filter process which had predated autochromes. It is original colour, not colourised.
