@RMTunion What are the wholesale terms and conditions? This has been publicly stated as voluntary, and ASLEF have agreed it. Huge risk here that TFL just play you against ASLEF, offer them better terms, & pull members across. Strike impact seems minimal this week, easy to get to work

@Ed_Miliband The price cap is due to the cost of gas mainly LNG imports. It is total madness that all energy is based on gas the most expensive cost. Why not have a median approach, maybe daily prices based on average, so then people will see the benefits of wind & solar as today they don't
@NetworkRailWssx This is fantastic news of course - but .. would it not be better to just close the station for say 2-3 weeks in the summer & get it all done in one go ? People would not mind going to Clapham or Putney easy to do - better than 6 months of work

@PutneyFleur Faceless off shore property companies in singapore are hoovering up flats in Wandsworth (1-2 beds), increasing rent they will simply ignore these rules. How will WBC enforce this billion $ off shore lawyered up company ?. They rent via LLP so avoid these rules, (ie company let)
@Conway_NE@4sec7 Unless these companies are off shore (Singapore/ Malaysia) who make 0 profit here, pay no tax, & can simply ignore these rules. Lambeth council trying to get fines out of a multi billion, lawyered up off shore .. not chance.
@TradingParrot Already happening - large off shore property funds hovering up flats in London from small landlords. 5% premium, will simply ignore all of these rules. How will say Lambeth council enforce a ยฃ7k fine on a Billion dollar off shore company. They will exploit the rental market

If leaseholders had been sensible, this would not be needed, they turned services charges into a revenue exploitation scheme, their fault
@hiltonholloway Hum .. so we have a freeholder - Fraser's group, no direct contact allowed, who have raised stationary costs from ยฃ500 to ยฃ2.5k every leaseholder asked for electronic. So 3 letters a month, hand delivered when not needed by the management agent who charges 15% admin ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
@SimonMagus Originally leasehold was a partnership between the developers & leaseholders responsibility. Good way to share the costs. companies found ways to exploit them for profit around 2013. So our lease allows upto ยฃ2k for comms, 2007 to 2013 was ยฃ500 a year, since 2013 it is ยฃ2k .
@GlennSeat@BeadleBen@mtpennycook What's happening is private landlords with 1-4 property are selling to mainly Singapore based corporations - they are hovering up 1-3 bed properties for rent, as basically they are so massive they don't care a hoot for the new regulations, lawyer up, push out for years etc
@RMTunion It is a private media station, has no public funding, and their backers may not be interested in making a profit... You might see a surprise may 7th and if it swings you may not be so cozy
