I love reading about diversity! If you'd like to write a community post for Billion Strong, send me a DM. #Intersectionality#PWD#diversity https://t.co/Rd5JkZKhZt
A lot of people face multiple and intersecting forms of discrimination. But when we don't address intersectionality, we leave parts of our communities behind. It's time to create the change that we wish to see in this world. https://t.co/Ml8Wort42s

One of the things that @LaMondre_P said that I hadn't thought of before... the disabled community is the only minority group that you can become a part of at any time in your life. Hypothetically, that means everyone! So, let's just be inclusive in everything that we do.
Asked by @AXSChat: Q6 Out of the 17 @UN#SDGs 11 of the goals impact the community of persons with disabilities. Why is it so critical to truly include persons with disabilities more meaningfully in society? #AXSChat#BillionStrong#RuhGlobal
Representation absolutely matters! Everyone has their own life experiences, and that means we each bring something different to the table. Let's embrace our differences, show how incredibly diverse we are, and make the world a more inclusive place.
You know this one really resonates with me, right? The intersectionality of diverse and marginalized groups is significant for the people (like myself) who identify with these real, lived experiences. Again, we are stronger together than we are as individuals. #BillionStrong
The problem isn't that there are 1.3B persons with #disabilities around the world - it's that we aren't given the same job opportunities, training, access, etc. We are stronger together! That's why having a platform to show what we bring to the table is really important.
It is interesting and unfortunate that the majority of people don't really "care" - at least to the point of action or creating change - until the topic (whatever it is) hits home. Thank you, Momma Pough, for raising such an incredible man. You did good!
