@SupamanDePrune@grifin_station Where exactly has that been retconned? Even Goku took a senzu right on the way to the battlefield in the saiyan saga. It's ambiguous enough to imply that he was not at full power in addition to the exhausting from running back from King Kai's.
@grifin_station To be fair, Vegeta himself has admits that he miscalculated, because Goku, the guy physically throwing the thing, is running on an empty tank.
And apparently revival doesn't automatically restore your ki to full? Could be important when talking about Gohan in this context.
Anyway, obviously this all raises any number of awkward questions about how/if Buddhism and Christianity are supposed to fit in with DB’s own elaborate pantheon of gods. Daizenshuu 7 bluntly states that people have these faiths but are unaware of “the true god”. Harsh.
@GalacticMj@Micha96870542 Because to Beerus, it's idiotic to feel collective guilt for ALL Saiyans, not just Vegeta alone. Vegega thinks he alone has to bear the burden for all of them. Why would he exclude himself from the bunch? The point of the narrative literally focused on him overcoming his guilt.
I also find it cool that the skull starts to look more ape shaped, which ties nicely into its oozaru roots.
(Also when Toriyama was conceptualizing SSJ3, he was thinking of giving it a tail)
@foolishlittlema@mikudokkan@omari_memes Ah yes, years of training with uub that amounts to nothing but sparring. GT goku has undergone NONE of the actual training under arguably the greatest martial arts teacher in the universe.
@NarroKapsaiya@mikudokkan@omari_memes what the fuck are you talking about? Whis puts him through physical conditioning, high level sparring, ki refinement, reaction training, movement economy, and mental discipline. All GT goku did was some vague training with uub for 5 years.
@halenhayes@ViolentDavey@TheRealLyricCat and yang looking at blake and calling her pretty was not “before that.” It never happened in that scene to begin with. ruby noticed Blake, Yang asked whether Ruby knew her, and then dragged Ruby over so she could finally introduce herself. That's the scene.
@halenhayes@ViolentDavey@TheRealLyricCat compliments can come from regular-ass admiration or an attempt to make conversation. which is what yang did. and when blake gave her clipped answers, yang called her a lost cause. wanting somebody to feel good or like you is not inherently romantic
@halenhayes@ViolentDavey@TheRealLyricCat Yang awkward starting her interaction with "I like your bow. It goes well with your...pyjamas!" Is nothing more than a basic ass compliment. If you think that's a sign of bisexuality then by that logic every guy or girl who ever complimented their sex has a same-sex attraction
