We just arrived at Giza- the most important archeological site on the planet. It is the geographical center of Earth's land mass.

We are starting out tour of Egypt and are the only American group in the country. We feel very safe.

We just arrived on Egypt today with study tour and excavation mission members.
Tomorrow we visit the pyramid complexes in Lower Egypt.

Had a great day. Climbed the cliff above Hatshepsut's Temple. And climbed into the burial chamber of a tomb shaft we excavated yesterday.
