Yes, I'm excited for Namit Malhotra's Ramayana as well, but I just heard that the 25-minute Treta Yuga sequence in Rajamouli's Varanasi reportedly cost around ₹350 crore. Imagine the effort and attention to detail that went into it.

Rajamouli has also been full of praise for Mahesh Babu's performance in that sequence.

After years of showing Ramayana references in his other films, this is the first time Rajamouli is actually bringing a Ramayana sequence to the big screen.

@indicmawntee Many shots look exactly from 2013 star plus mahabharat. And why did they need to put unfinished vfx shots ? They could have used rendered shots or trim the length of the trailer.
