Our project on AI for protein, molecule, and biomedical modeling has been awarded 200,000 compute credits from NSF ACCESS.
This will accelerate large-scale model training at HySonLab and complements HPC resources like Cheaha (UAB) and the Alabama Supercomputer Authority.
A wonderful moment at the Alabama AI Summit today with my two PhD students together with Prof. Yuliang Zheng, Chair of the Department of Computer Science at UAB, and Prof. Amber Wagner. I am grateful to be part of a vibrant AI community at UAB and in Alabama.
Honored to officially join Scientific Reports (Nature Portfolio) as an Editor. Scientific Reports is a Q1 journal with a 2024 impact factor of 3.9 and is currently the 3rd most-cited journal in the world.
🚀 New publication from HySonLab!
"EquiHGNN: Scalable Rotationally Equivariant Hypergraph Neural Networks" is accepted at Journal of Chemical Physics (JCP).
Presented at NeurIPS 2025 Workshop (San Diego).
