Happily married, love my Savior Jesus, my family, brothers and sisters in Christ. Enjoy making memories, classic cars and bluegrass gospel music. Proverbs 3:5-6

[D.L. Moody @DLMoodydaily]

There has not been a work undertaken for God since Adam fell which has not met with opposition. If Satan allows us to work unhindered, it is because our work is of no consequence.

Do nothing that you would not like God to see.

Say nothing you would not like God to hear.

Write nothing you would not like God to read.

Go no place where you would not like God to find you.

Read no book of which you would not like God to say, "Show it to Me."

I fear much for many professing Christians. I see no sign of fighting in them, much less of victory. They never strike one stroke on the side of Christ. They are at peace with His enemies. They have no quarrel with sin. I warn you, this is not Christianity. @JCRyle

@timburchett @WhiteHouse Even if identified, nothing will happen. The current liberal administration is indeed above the law.

And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye.
Luke 6:41-42

The Pharaohs, the Herods, the Neros, have labored in vain to put down the church. The true Church outlives them all. @JCRyle

Acts 26:28-29-KJV
“Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian. And Paul said, I would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were both almost, and altogether such as I am, except these bonds.” Have a blessed Monday everyone🥰

We became Christians by faith in Jesus, we stay Christians by faith in Jesus, and we grow as Christians by faith in Jesus.-@JCRyle

Trouble or no trouble—pains or no pains—controversy, or no controversy—one thing is very sure: that nothing but Christ's Gospel will ever do good to our own souls. Nothing else will maintain our Churches. Nothing else will ever bring down God's blessing upon our land.- @JCRyle

The chief weapon we ought to use in resisting Satan is the Bible. Three times the great enemy offered temptations to our Lord. Three times his offer was refused, with a text of Scripture as the reason, ‘it is written.” ~@JCRyle

True Christians delight to read the Scriptures, because they tell them about their beloved Savior. - @JCRyle

[D.L. Moody @DLMoodydaily]

A man shall never fall if he puts his trust in the Lord; but if he puts his trust in anything else, he will be disappointed.

Break off from a world which can never really satisfy you. Seek that treasure which alone is truly incorruptible. – @JCRyle

@Texas_Made67 Reminds of a church sign at a church that had their AC units stolen also. "Whoever stole the air conditioning units, keep them, it is hot where you are going."

Believe me, the day is fast coming when the soul will be the one thing men will think of, and the only question of importance will be this: “Is my soul lost or saved?” - @JCRyle
