The homosexual can make it to heaven.
So can the Baptist.
The atheist can make it.
So can the deacon.
The Muslim. The Mormon. The Catholic. The Lutheran. The Jehovah’s Witness.
The man in the third pew for forty years.
Me. I made the list too.
None of us get in on the label.
One door.
Repent. Trust Jesus Christ as Saviour.
Acts 4:12.
Contrary to what the world believes;
not everyone goes to Heaven.
“as it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:”
Romans 3:10 KJV
“for ALL have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”
Romans 3:23 KJV
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through JESUS Christ our Lord.”
Romans 6:23 KJV
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8 KJV
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16 KJV
GOD does not want anyone to perish;
HE gives us the choice.
The Gospel is simple;
no one can earn salvation;
It is a GIFT.
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV
You either believe JESUS CHRIST paid for all your sins or you don’t.
“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”
John 3:36 KJV
When I say JESUS SAVES
it’s only because
HE IS THE WAY.
Do you know the Gospel ?
Have you heard the Gospel ?
NOW is the day of salvation:

Pray with me
September 22, 2026
Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with grateful hearts, because every good and perfect gift comes from You. You are the Giver, the Sustainer, and the One who has carried us farther than we could ever have carried ourselves. (James 1:17)
Thank You for the blessings we recognize and for the blessings we have overlooked. Thank You for doors You opened, and for doors You closed because You knew what was on the other side. Thank You for prayers You answered exactly as we hoped, and for the times Your wisdom gave us something different because Your ways are higher than our ways. (Isaiah 55:8-9)
Lord, teach us to “give thanks in all circumstances,” because this is Your will for us in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:18) Not because every circumstance is good, but because You remain good in every circumstance.
Thank You for daily bread. Thank You for shelter, provision, work, family, friendship, laughter, and the ordinary mercies we so easily take for granted. You have promised to supply our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19)
Thank You for protecting us from things we never saw coming. Thank You for sustaining us through battles we thought would break us. Thank You for giving strength when ours was gone, peace when life was uncertain, and hope when the road ahead seemed dark.
As David declared, “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.” (Psalm 103:2) Father, keep us from forgetting. Do not allow familiarity with Your blessings to produce ingratitude in our hearts. Give us eyes to recognize Your fingerprints throughout our lives.
Above everything else, thank You for Jesus.
Thank You for the cross. Thank You for mercy we did not earn, grace we could never purchase, forgiveness we could never achieve, and salvation we could never accomplish for ourselves. “Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift!” (2 Corinthians 9:15)
Thank You that through Christ we have been rescued from darkness and brought into Your kingdom. (Colossians 1:13-14) Thank You that our names are written in heaven. (Luke 10:20) Thank You that nothing can separate us from Your love in Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:38-39)
Father, do not simply make us people who have been blessed. Make us people who know how to be grateful.
When abundance comes, keep us humble.
When difficulties come, keep us faithful.
When prayers are answered, remind us to return and say thank You.
When we receive more than we need, show us whom we can bless.
Let gratitude change the way we live. May our words, generosity, worship, obedience, and treatment of others become living expressions of thanksgiving.
Your Word says, “Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever!” (Psalm 107:1)
So today we give You thanks.
For what You have done.
For what You are doing.
For what You have kept us from.
For what You have brought us through.
For what You have placed in our hands.
And for what You are preparing that we cannot yet see.
You have been faithful in every season. You are faithful today. And You will remain faithful tomorrow.
May we never become so consumed with what we still want that we forget to praise You for what we already have.
With grateful hearts, we declare:
“The LORD has done great things for us; we are glad.” (Psalm 126:3)
Thank You, Father, for Your goodness, Your mercy, Your provision, Your protection, Your presence, and above all, the gift of Your Son.
In the name of Jesus Christ,
Amen.
IT IS FINISHED!
The expression "died for my sins" means: my sin debt has been paid and my punishment for sin has been borne. Knowing that Jesus died for my sins is the same as believing that Jesus died for my sins.
In other words: take refuge with confidence in the dead and risen Savior.
Who can believe in Him? You and I.
Who can pass Him by in unbelief? Not you, not I, and ultimately not anyone.
Whoever believes in Him—that is, whoever surrenders or entrusts themselves to Him—has eternal life, is freed from their sin debt, and never again needs to suffer the punishment for sin.
His last three words were:
"When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, 'It is finished!'" And he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.’
– John 19:30
‘For the wages of sin is death.’
– Romans 6:23
‘In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.’
– Ephesians 1:7
“Likewise also as it was in the Days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
but the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.”
Luke 17:28-29 KJV
The first person Jesus promised heaven to was a criminal who spent part of that morning cursing Him.
Matthew 27:44. The thieves also, who were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth.
Both of them. Plural. Matthew and Mark both say that the two men dying beside Him joined the crowd and mocked Him.
Then something happened to one of them.
Nobody preached to him. Nobody gave him a tract. He watched a man get stripped, nailed, mocked by priests, gambled over by soldiers, and somewhere in those hours he changed his mind about who was hanging in the middle.
Luke 23:40. Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
He turns on his own partner first.
Then: And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds.
He doesn't minimize it. Doesn't blame Rome. Doesn't say he fell in with the wrong crowd. He says: I earned this cross.
Then: but this man hath done nothing amiss.
The only man in Jerusalem that day who publicly declared Jesus innocent was a condemned criminal with nails in his wrists. Pilate had said it and then washed his hands. Peter had said it and then denied it. The disciples had scattered.
A thief said it out loud from a cross and couldn't run.
Then he says the sentence that should stop you cold.
Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
Look at what he's looking at while he says it.
A man who can't move. Naked. Bleeding out. Nailed to wood between two criminals. No army. No crown. No miracle. The sky going dark and His own mother sobbing at His feet.
And this man calls Him Lord and says kingdom.
Everyone else that day used the word king as a joke. The soldiers jammed thorns on His head and knelt down, mocking: Hail, King of the Jews. The priests shouted Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross. Pilate nailed a sign above His head in three languages: THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS, and meant it as an insult to the whole nation.
Everybody in the story said the word. One man believed it.
And think about the faith required. Every other person who trusted Jesus in the gospels had evidence. They saw blind eyes open. They saw a dead man walk out of a tomb. They watched Him still a storm.
This man saw none of it. He saw Jesus fail. He saw Him lose, publicly, completely, in the most humiliating way the Roman Empire could engineer.
And he looked at total defeat and said: I want to be in your kingdom.
That's the greatest act of faith recorded in the Bible, and it came from a man who had hours left to live.
Now look at what he asked for.
Remember me.
That's all. Not save me. Not take me with you. Just when you come into whatever it is you're coming into, think of me. He asked for a thought. A memory. The smallest thing a man can ask.
And look at the answer.
Luke 23:43. Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
He asked to be remembered someday. Jesus said today.
He asked for a thought. Jesus said With me.
He asked to be included. Jesus said paradise.
Now that word. Paradise.
In Greek it's paradeisos. It isn't originally a religious word at all; it's an old Persian term for a walled garden, an enclosed park belonging to a king.
And when Jewish scholars translated the Hebrew Bible into Greek, that's the word they chose for one specific place.
Genesis 2:8. And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden.
Paradeisos. The garden.
So read the promise again with that in your ears.
A man is dying for his crimes, and the Son of God tells him: today you'll be with me in the garden.
The garden humanity was thrown out of. Genesis 3:24: God placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
An angel with a burning sword stood at that gate for the whole Old Testament. Nobody got back in. Not Abraham. Not Moses. Not David.
And the first human being told he was going back in was a convicted criminal, and the announcement was made by a man bleeding to death three feet away from him.
The sword came down on the wrong man, and the gate came open.
Now count what the thief had.
No baptism. He was nailed to a cross; he wasn't going anywhere near water.
No good works. His hands were fixed to wood. He could not physically do one single thing for God for the rest of his life.
No restitution. Whoever he stole from never got it back.
No church. No membership, no giving, no service, no years of faithfulness.
No time. He had hours.
He had nothing. He came with empty hands, an honest confession, and one sentence of faith.
And he is the only person in the entire Bible that Jesus personally, verbally, by name guaranteed would be with Him in paradise that same day.
The man we are most certain is in heaven did the fewest works of anyone in Scripture.
That should wreck your arithmetic.
Because you've been keeping a ledger. Years of church against years you were gone. Prayers against failures. The version of you people see against the one you actually are. You've got some idea that there's a number you have to hit before God will look at you and you're behind on it, and you know it.
The thief had nothing on his side of the ledger but a lifetime of theft and a morning of mockery.
Jesus didn't ask him for anything else.
And notice: Jesus never told him to clean up first. Never said if you had more time. Never asked what he'd stolen or from whom. The man asked to be remembered, and Jesus handed him the garden.
If you're reading this thinking you're too far gone, or too late, or too dirty, or that you'd need years to get right before God would want you.
He saved a man who had six hours left and couldn't move his hands.
He can do something with what's left of yours.
Say what the thief said.
Remember me.
Don’t wait until it is too late.
Believe the gospel and get delivered from this horrible place.
1 Corinthians 15:3-4 KJV
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
“But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
For yourselves know perfectly that the Day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
For when THEY shall say, Peace and Safety;
then sudden destruction cometh upon THEM,
as travail upon a woman with child; and THEY shall not escape.
BUT YE, BRETHREN, ARE NOT IN DARKNESS , THAT THAT DAY SHOULD OVERTAKE YOU AS A THIEF.
Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
Therefore let us not sleep, as do others;
but let us watch and be sober. For GOD hath not appointed us to wrath,
but to obtain salvation by our Lord JESUS Christ,”
1 Thessalonians 5:1-6, 9 KJV
Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. - Romans 10:9
Salvation is not earned by becoming good enough. It is received by trusting the risen Christ.
'You were the one, cursed on a cross They raised You high,You took the fall You felt the wrath,You wore my sin
You gave your life so I could live
Lord I come just as l am
All my defences I lay them down
&I know by the blood, the blood of the lamb
You won't leave me just as I am
25 years ago today 2,977 people got up and went to work as usual, there were no obvious warnings of the horrific events that would soon take place.
Life is fragile and but a vapor when compared to eternity; we can be here today and gone tomorrow.
Pray for those families who lost loved ones and whom many still suffer the effects of that days events.
JESUS CHRIST said,
I AM the RESURRECTION, and the LIFE: he that believeth in ME, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in ME shall never die.
John 11:25

Then said they unto HIM, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
JESUS answered and said unto them,
"This is the work of GOD,
that ye believe on HIM whom HE hath sent.
John 6:28-29 KJV
