최근 쿠팡 개인정보 유출 이슈로 개인통관고유부호부터 해외 IP 로그인 설정까지 부랴부랴 수정하면서 현타가 온 요즘입니다.. 😂
개인 주소부터 카드 이용 내역까지 모두 털렸다는 뉴스를 보면서, "모든 걸 한 회사의 DB에 몰아넣는" Web2 금융 인프라의 한계를 더 크게 느낀 것 같아요.

이런 타이밍에 얼마 전 상장한 @Rayls_Korea 에서 이벤트를 진행 중이라는 소식을 보고, 이전에도 galxe를 비롯한 캠페인에 참여한 적이 있던 프로젝트라 좀 더 상세히 들여다 보면서 흥미로운 점들을 많이 발견한 것 같아요.

📌Rayls의 보안 특장점
Rayls는 퍼블릭 EVM L2와 기관별 프라이빗 VEN 서브넷으로 구성된 하이브리드 구조인 UniFi체인 아키텍처를 채택하고 있습니다.
💬 이는 전통금융과 탈중앙화 금융을 연결함으로써 이번 유출 이슈처럼 한 회사의 DB에 몰아넣어서 발생할 수 있는 리스크를 관리할 수 있죠.

또한, 블록체인 및 크립토에서 가장 큰 보안이슈로 부각되었던 양자컴퓨팅 시대까지 대비하기 위해 ZK proofs + homomorphic encryption + post-quantum crypto 조합으로 트랜잭션을 보호합니다.

실사용 유즈케이스를 강조하는 점도 눈에 띄었는데, RWA 및 CBDC 결제, FX/결제 인프라를 기관이 바로 올릴 수 있게 설계된 "Blockchain for banks"라는 슬로건이 마음에 들었습니다.

실제로 라틴 아메리카 금융기관들과 파트너십을 맺고 있고 (브라질 중앙은행, JP모건, Banco BV 등)
팀 경력을 살펴봤을 때도 모건 및 인텔 등의 이력이 눈에 띄어서 실 금융 및 보안에 해당 이력을 잘 녹여낼 수 있겠다는 신뢰가 생겼어요.

📌기대효과
통신사 유출부터 불안했는데, 최근 쿠팡까지 이어진 유출 사태를 지켜보면서 느낀 점은
한 플랫폼 DB가 털리면 개인정보 + 결제정보 + 거래 히스토리가 한번에 유출되는 구조가 굉장히 불안하다는 것입니다.

Rayls는 고객 PII/KYC 데이터는 각 기관의 프라이빗 레저에, 결제-정산-자산 토큰화 상태는 퍼블릭 L2에서 암호화 및 검증 가능 형태로 분리됩니다.

즉, 이를 통해 사용자는 더 강한 프라이버시와 장기 보안성을 누릴 수 있고
기관은 규제 준수는 유지하면서도 DeFi와 RWA 유동성에 접속하는 레일을 얻을 수 있습니다.

웹2 보안 사고가 반복되는 요즘 Ralys 같은 UniFi형 인프라가 다음 단계의 보안과 신뢰를 구현하고 제공할 수 있을 지 흥미롭게 지켜보고 있습니다!
