🐰 we had no other choices besides obsession, i was like “no way, i’d rather die than watch a horror movie in theaters” but they just ignored what i said and went ahead and booked the tickets and since they’d already booked it, i ended up getting dragged there and watched it
🐰 i actually enjoyed watching it too
🐰 you feel really uneasy after watching a horror movie, right? like it feels like something is going to come out from under your blanket, it feels like a ghost will jump out at you if you close your eyes in the shower…i don’t like horror movies because i hate that uneasy feeling but ‘obsession’ doesn’t have that; once you’re done watching it, it’s over…it’s only scary as you’re watching it…i liked that it ends just at that and it’s just the right amount of brutal, just the right amount of scary…the occult elements were blended in to a right amount…that’s why i liked it, i enjoyed watching it
🐰 the production was really good; the sound was used really really well…the silence was really long and even in situations where things weren’t startling, it was startling because of the sound
🐰 i always feel terrible after watching a horror movie but with obsession, it just ended at “that was fun.”
🐰 if you haven’t watched it yet and you like horror movies, i’d still recommend it…i enjoyed it.
🐰 the female lead is sooooo good at acting. you can tell just by the trailer but ‘obsession’ is about an extremely clingy girlfriend….how do i put this…it’s about how she becomes obsessed with her boyfriend who she loves too much
🐰 the male lead…i wanted to flick him in the forehead just like i wanted to with the villain from odyssey…i wanted to pull on his ears…he was such a loser….to the point where i was suspicious like “are we sure he really likes the female lead..?”
🐰 i felt like his love came from the wrong kind of lack
🐰 i really hated the male lead
🐰 something goes wrong with the female lead…she kinda loses her mind because of the male lead…but while watching it, the female lead was kinda…lovely? something was really wrong with her but she…ah do i need to get off now? if i can go live again in 2-3 hours and finish talking about it, i’ll do it
🐰 to finish what i was saying, the female lead’s character was doing really strange things but the actress herself was actually really lovely too…so it was kinda cute? she was doing scary and strange things but…that’s why it wasn’t that scary to me

🐰 and because odysseus had a big decision to make and had huge things ahead, he couldn’t greet him in a satisfactory way…he just saw him…and then the dog died
🐰 nobody recognized odysseus but the fact that his dog still recognized him after all these years…
