काजल जो दलित हिंदू थी वह एक मुस्लिम जो अपराधी प्रवृत्ति कथा फैजान उसके साथ लिव इन में जब रहने गई तो उसे हिंदू संगठनों ने समझाया था तब उसने मना किया था कि मेरा अब्दुल ऐसा नहीं है

फैजान जो एक आपराधिक प्रवृत्ति का था उसके ऊपर बाद में कई मामले दर्ज हुए जिसमें पास्को एक्ट एससी एसटी एक्ट मारपीट का मामला है

फैजान जेल में ही था और खुद काजल ने उसकी जमानत करवाई थी

और फैजान जमानत से जेल से बाहर आया और अगले ही दिन उसने काजल की बस स्टैंड पर इसलिए पीट-पीटकर हत्या कर दी क्योंकि उसको शक हो गया था कि जब मैं जेल में था तब काजल के संबंध मेरे दोस्त से हो गए थे

इस मामले में सबसे बड़ा आश्चर्य यह है कि तमाम दलित संगठन चुप है जिग्नेश मेवानी चुप है कोई इस मामले पर कुछ नहीं बोल रहा
