Agnieszka Hadała, a Polish woman living in India, just called out something many people have noticed.

She asked why Europe gets empathy during a heatwave, while India is often mocked or called "backward" for facing similar challenges.

She pointed out that parts of Poland are struggling at 35°C, with schools closing, roads and railway tracks affected, and many homes without AC or even fans.

Meanwhile, India regularly faces 40-50°C summers. When Indians slept on Mumbai's Versova Beach during power cuts to escape the heat, it became a global joke.

Now people across Europe are doing the same, but this time the world responds with sympathy.
