Has anyone else watched The Listeners? Rebecca Hall is incredible, and Janicza Bravo’s direction makes this eerie, unsettling story a visual treat. I wanted a wilder ending, but the journey is absolutely worth it.
Cackling so hard at HACKS I scared my cat. The Amazing Race sequence had me crying. Trisha Paytas killed it, and Kaitlin Olsen’s sendoff was perfect. Caitlin Reilly, Anna Konkle, Jordan Firstman too. Sad we’re already halfway through the season.
Running Point somehow became a comfort watch. It goes down easy, even when the plot moves way too fast. Kate Hudson, Drew Tarver, and Brenda Song are MVPs. The physical comedy alone has me convinced Kate has bruises.
Honestly, I’m having a blast with Cape Fear. It’s so pulpy and overdramatic, with a booming score and gloriously intense performances. Borderline camp, totally unpredictable, and Juliette Lewis is doing what she does best.
The Other Bennet Sister is such a delight. A fresh P&P lens through Mary: awkward, bookish, and done with Regency courtship. Predictable? Maybe. But sometimes a happily ever after is exactly what you want.
Margo’s Got Money Troubles is perfect. I race to watch every week, and I can’t believe only two episodes are left. Fanning and Pfeiffer are incredible together. If you’re not watching, jump aboard immediately.
Running Point became such a comfort watch. It moves fast, but Kate Hudson, Drew Tarver, and Brenda Song make it a blast. The physical comedy alone has me convinced Kate Hudson left set bruised. Already a yearly staple.
