To those saying, “Nigeria happened to me.” Nigeria has happened to me in so many beautiful and positive ways.
What I am going through today does not define Nigeria, nor does it change the love and belief I have in my country. This is not about Nigeria; it is about individuals.
Nigeria is bigger than any one of us. Bigger than our personal interests, our positions, our challenges, and our differences and I will never allow the actions of a few individuals to change how I feel about the country I proudly call home.
@SodiqTade U don't have to explain yourself, or allowed anyone to blackmail you for stating a fact. Those guys are not ready to replace tinibu. And they can be worst than him.
Talk to your mother lovingly.
Talk to your father respectfully.
Talk to your wife truthfully.
Talk to your brother heartily.
Talk to your sister affectionately.
Talk to your friends jovially.
Talk to officials politely.
Talk to customers honestly.
Propaganda is just as effective today as it was 50 years ago.
Access to endless information hasn’t made the average person any smarter. Only those who really want to know will know.
@JaafarSJaafar I’m not disappointed by you, because it’s what you are, same as the masters you’re working for. For us whatever we did, should always align with teachings of our religion, we will never compromise that. WAI KAI DAN BOKO. Hmm.
If the new defense minister solves the problem of insecurity in Nigeria, as a Nigerian nationalist, I will use every ounce of my ability to support and push him to be the next president. Is a promise to God.

Gen. Musa Pledges Quick Security Results
My immediate priority is to ensure defence takes its rightful place in the country. I assure Nigerians that results will be seen within the shortest possible time.
Gen. Christopher Musa (Rtd), Nigeria's Minister of Defence
Earlier this week, I joined the BBC World Service to discuss the recent unfortunate attacks in Nigeria.
I stressed that Nigeria’s problem is not a lack of intelligence or information on security threats, but rather limited capacity to respond - too few personnel, poor mobility and slow reinforcement times.
For Western partners that say they want to help, including the United States, the priority should be to listen to Nigeria about its needs, rather than assuming they know better Nigeria what those needs are.

We face challenges head-on and remain steadfast in our commitment to engage partners and champion Nigeria's interests on the diplomatic front. We are confidently asserting our presence on the global stage, guided by unwavering calm, clarity, and a strong sense of purpose.
We are indeed faced with terrorism - a challenge Nigeria has faced for almost two decades, and we will not back down. We will decisively defeat terrorism and claim victory in this battle. Security is non-negotiable, and we will never compromise on this principle. With unwavering courage and a steadfast commitment to the rule of law, we will prevail.
Nigeria is one united family. We rise together, move forward together, and reject despair in favour of determination. Our future is far more robust and stronger than any fears we may have.
The task ahead is immense, yet our resolve is even greater. We will continue to sustain and build on our reform gains and deliver a prosperous and inclusive Nigeria.
We will spare no effort and leave no stone unturned in our mission to eliminate criminals from our society. We urge our allies to stand firmly with us as we amplify our fight against terrorism. We have made significant progress in the past two years and we will decisively eliminate this threat.
With courage and the rule of law, we will triumph.
Nigeria will be, and remain a reliable partner and dependable ally to its friends and a steady voice for stability. We also welcome the collaboration and support of our allies, friends, and partners as we strengthen both security and economic growth.
To the brave men and women of our armed forces and intelligence community united by purpose, regardless of tribe or religion, who serve fearlessly, fight side-by-side and sometimes pay the ultimate price, we express our deepest gratitude. Your commitment is our strength in the fight against terror.
