If you're new here, welcome. Here's a little about who I am and why I'm running to serve Snohomish County as sheriff once again.

I'm a lifelong Snohomish County resident, a U.S. Navy veteran, and a 30-year veteran of the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office. My family and I have lived, worked, and raised our children here, so public safety isn't just my profession—it's personal.

Throughout my career, I've served in patrol, K-9, SWAT, the Honor Guard, community outreach, and currently serve as a patrol sergeant. I also had the honor of serving as President of the Snohomish County Deputy Sheriff's Association, becoming the longest-serving president in its history.

From 2020 to 2023, I had the privilege of serving as your elected Snohomish County Sheriff during one of the most challenging periods in modern law enforcement. I'm proud of the progress we made together and the foundation we built for the future.

My roots run deep. I was raised in Brier, spent my young adult years in south Snohomish County, raised my children for more than 20 years in Lake Stevens, and now live just outside Granite Falls. My wife, Jill, and I have been blessed to raise eight children, all of whom are giving back to our community. We are active members of Rock Church in Everett, where our faith continues to guide us.

One accomplishment I'm especially proud of is creating the Lead The Way youth mentorship program during my first term as Sheriff. After leaving office, I founded the Lead The Way Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing Leadership, Encouragement, and Direction to youth throughout Snohomish County.
I believe every young person deserves someone who believes in them. Sometimes encouragement, guidance, and a second chance can change the course of a life.

My commitment has always been to serve with integrity, protect our communities, support those who wear the badge, and leave the Sheriff's Office stronger than I found it. That commitment remains unchanged.

🚨OSTROUSHKO UPDATE: Paige Ostroushko, who violently assaulted me in Minneapolis, has voluntarily dismissed her restraining order against me after her parents LOST against me in court.

Reminder, that after attacking me, the entire family LIED on legal documents to get “ex-parte” restraining orders issued against me in an attempt to stop me from reporting on them.

DeYanna also personally went to the police department to try and get me ARRESTED for reporting on how she, Chris and Paige have been utilizing these restraining orders to try and silence me.

Thankfully, I won my court hearing and Chris and DeYanna’s restraining orders against me were DENIED by a Hennepin County judge.

Paige has now voluntarily dismissed her case and doesn't seem to want to show up to make her case, despite putting on a legal document that I have been “threatening” and "doxxing" her and her family.

Chris and DeYanna state that they have lost $300,000 in employment income and state they’ve been getting death threats (although they submitted ZERO evidence to prove these allegations when we went to court).

Another WIN against the violent Ostroushko family who have been federally indicted and have their next pre-trial motion hearing on September 1st.

They’re also facing the civil suit I’ve brought against them and they have until the 29th of this month to respond.
