Almost everyone in their late 20s and 30s is having a quarter-life crisis because the previous generation wrecked the economy, priced us out of adulthood, and now treats us like failures for not owning a house or car that once cost a few years’ wages, not a lifetime of debt.
i remember my previous co-worker nagsasabi sya na "mag asawa na lang ako para d na ako hanapan ng ate ko ng pera" and it dawned me. kasi may mindset ung iba na kapag working ka at walang sariling family, iisipin nila may pera ka at pwede ka mautangan anytime (ito din ung dilemma ko actually).
dito nagsstart ung guilt ng iba na gumastos for themselves when it shouldn't be that way.
let everyone use their hard-earned money however they want to use. it's THEIR money.
Since when did someone else's hard-earned money become a community fund? 👀
