बिहार के जमुई का एक वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हो रहा है। जिसमें क��छ स्थानीय लोगो द्वारा एक कपल के साथ मारपीट के अलावा लड़की के साथ अभद्रता करते हुए स्पष्ट रूप से दिखाई दे रहा है। यदि वीडियो की सत्यता की पुष्टि होती है और इसमें शामिल लोगों की पहचान सुनिश्चित हो जाती है, तो बिहार पुलिस को मामले की निष्पक्ष जाँच करते हुए तत्काल और कानूनसम्मत कार्रवाई करनी चाहिए। कपल के साथ यौन उत्पीड़न एवं अभद्रता करने वालों के विरुद्ध कानून के अनुसार कठोर कार्रवाई सुनिश्चित होनी चाहिए।

लेकिन सवाल केवल दोषियों की पहचान और कार्रवाई तक सीमित नहीं है। सवाल यह भी है कि ऐसी घटनाएँ खुलेआम होने की स्थिति कैसे बनती है? जब किसी महिला या दंपति के साथ सार्वजनिक रूप से दुर्व्यवहार हो रहा हो, तब उसे रोकने के बजाय वीडियो बनाना ��माज की संवेदनशीलता पर भी गंभीर सवाल खड़े करता है।
