The amount of racism towards Indians, Indian foods, and Indian culture is so normalized on social media and people have literally painted us to be in such a bad light when it comes to society. Nothing has changed ever since I moved to this country and no one speaks up to it either.

A country with 1.4 billion people, split into 5 major regions, having up to 100+ languages, and being a home to many religions.

I wish people did their research on how vastly different people are in this country.

No, we do not all look the same.
No, we do not all sound the same.
No, we do not all practice the same region
No, we do not all have "disgusting street food".
No, we do not smell "bad".
No, we do not all work in tech support.

The stigma is so hurtful because social media has brainwashed people by picking out the poorest areas of the country and used them for "clicks", spewing so much ignorant racism to the people who have never experienced how beautiful the country, culture, food, and the people really are.
