@BuckeyedocOD@DianaforQueens The tactic is to create an enemy to avoid having to have accountability. Government doesn't want people paying attention to all the money they waste and how they solve nothing. So create the boogie man for people attack instead of them. Sad part is it works.
@JoshJohnso78348@DianaforQueens Seems the answer is that he should not have built up space X, starlink and Tesla, the world would be better if those companies went bankrupt and didn't exist. For that matter no companies should exist because that might result in someone being worth too much
@Miami8128@DianaforQueens Or just have him not go public with a company which would still have him worth more or less the same just not as visible. They are basically complaining about the stock market which is fine, but don't hate the player hate the game. Taking wealth will never solve the problem
@HeartofaLyon2@DianaforQueens They never really explain what would change if he wasn't that rich. Because nothing would change. We spend more per person in taxes then ever before and things are worse. If a 5x increase over inflation has made things worse why is getting a little more to spend matter?
@Rawbinbee@DianaforQueens What I don't get, they act like the money was taken. Overnight that wealth was created just like it is for everyone involved in a public company. Money is not a finite resource.
@DianaforQueens I guess the government shouldn't exist. Who has more money then the government? If spending over $7T a year has not made anything better what would taking all of his wealth accomplish? You can never tax yourself out of a spending problem
@mikeparker76146@Gunnster3@FoxNews Netflix has all sorts of edgy stuff on that is certainly not approved of or pushed by mainstream media. I mean they just put out the Kevin Hart roast, all sorts of comedy specials, Tires and so on.
@mikeparker76146@Gunnster3@FoxNews There are countless shows made today that say messed up stuff or do messed up stuff. Race/murder/rape and so on jokes made and no one cares.
@Thinkinshard@FoxNews but what in those actual episodes is actually offensive? The way the episodes play out is almost an afternoon special setup where people learn a lesson. Talking about race/sexuality is not in and of itself offensive.
@Thinkinshard@FoxNews Always Sunny has more "banned" episodes than any other show i can think of, they dressed up as Nazi's, used forbidden words. Not sure how that would not be edgy. If that show is not edgy then not sure there are any ones that are
@PimpMySensei@AlwaysFlacko@FoxNews How is it shunned today when it is still one of the most watched shows in reruns and on streaming? It is so offensive that it s till is on TV everyday and people continue to watch it a ton
@pocfarts@AlwaysFlacko@FoxNews They pretend it was edgy just because it was different that other sitcoms happening at the time or the recent time prior. Overall it was not edgy compared to numerous other shows some of which still on TV today. It just wasn't Bing Bang theory level of bland sitcom humor
@mikeparker76146@Gunnster3@FoxNews Edgy as in 45 year old white mom's being shocked, but not actually edgy. Plenty of shows still on TV that pale in comparison to the office as far as being offensive.
@Thinkinshard@FoxNews So a show that is super offensive can be made because it is a cartoon, but a sitcom that wasn't even edgy couldn't be made? Always Sunny can still air episodes but the office couldn't? the Office would easily be made today because it wasn't even offensive
@Ian58269206@FoxNews Funny isn't it, we hear complaints about all of this edgy content that is put out that is far more offensive than anything the office did, but also the office couldn't be made today? Maybe on NBC? I guess but not made at all? Please.
@LucyKDenver@Darryl_Revok77@FoxNews Family Guy and American Dad are on network TV and still air today which are 100x more edgy than anything the office did
@Thinkinshard@FoxNews Well South Park, Always Sunny, Family Guy are all still non TV. American Dad as well which is far more edgy then anything the office ever did. This is not about whether you like something more/less or good/bad. It is about the content being offensive. The office was not offensive
