@thcscus So it’s really not meant to scare people, but to rather encourage - Abraham named the mountain he was on “The Lord Will Provide” as a reminder that when things seem tough God will provide what you need, kind of like how tests in school are hard but they’re meant to strengthen you

@thcscus The meaning behind the story of Abraham and his son Isaac is the willingness to let go of something meaningful to you; in the end God provided a sacrificial lamb bc the purpose wasn’t to get Isaac killed, but to build Abraham’s trust - hope this helps clear the confusion up /gen
