@Ahri_China @Araz_Guney_ @neg_maso Yes, But as I know, they call it Azeri, or Turkish (as I mentioned before). because we have two provinces called Azerbaijan. These two, have a language which seems to be combined with Turkish.
I have some friends from there, and they say they understand Turkish words.

@Ahri_China @Araz_Guney_ @neg_maso It’s not a mish-mash, technically we have many different cultures & many different languages. In the country, we have Kurdish, Turkish, Arabic, Gilaki, Tabari and others. So, it’s just about variety of cultures and languages :)
And most of all, we all speak Persian :)

We also share many common words with French,does that mean we are French too?

Mainly,people think Persians are Arabs, just bc they can’t recognise the difference between them

Some people even think Persians speak Arabic, which is not true (except for some counties in the south of Iran, where people speak Arabic).
