Choi Heejin revealed that JISOO asked the director of Newtopia (Yoon Sunghyun) to let her make a cameo appearance in the series.

"Before I met my current agency, when I didn't have a company, I received an offer to play the role of JISOO’s best friend, who I worked with in 'Snowdrop.' JISOO told me about it before the director contacted me, so I already knew. The director knew about my chemistry with JISOO from 'Snowdrop' and asked if I could make a special appearance in 'Newtopia,' even though the role was very small."
