What a glorious week in the field with @MeropsField in the C��vennes. Our 2nd yr biology @UoNLifeSci students got SO much out of this - Sophie & Fabrizio are incredibly knowledgable, super well equipped for sampling biodiversity and PERFECT hosts!

@JimMFelton Gender is a social construct. They change sex not gender - fish (probably) don’t have genders. Im not sure what the TV show told the kids, but if they did say gender then the Daily Hate Mail is kind of right. I bet they didn’t though, it’s Martin Beckford using the wrong words.
