Throughout October I completed a fundraising challenge for @CR_UK to walk 100miles on top of my daily steps🚶🏼‍♀️🧬🧫🔬🧪 I wanted to help raise funds for this great charity as well as raising research awareness so that we can advance our future care! ✅🫶🏻

The study is trialling a nasogastric tube, which delivers electrical stimulation to the nerves at the back of the throat in patients who have had a stroke, to see if it improves their ability to swallow.

The ward teams on George Earle and Templer have been a fantastic support 💙

💡 | Congratulations to Katy Gass and the team on George Earle ward who have successfully enrolled the first Torbay and South Devon patient into the PhEAST study.
