I want to genuinely express my sincere apology for some of the things I tweeted earlier.
I was Consumed by grief and personal grouses to some certain quarters who have been trying to oppress me and suppress my voice.
Seeing that i escalated to appropriate authorities and expected the wisdom of the elders in satiating the situation.
I have also not been without blemish and i should have acted with more humility while seeking a redress
the language I used about Igbo elders and our revered traditional institutions was very reckless , which i deeply regret.
Calling people “evil” or “foolish” was disrespectful, and stupid of me and i take full accountability
I have genuine questions , concerns and criticisms about some of our traditional systems, and I still believe we should be able to have those conversations honestly and within the confines of respect and gentlemanliness.
But criticism should never become contempt for our people and culture.
As someone who constantly advocates for Igbo culture, its people and development.
I should have been more restraint and applied wisdom
To everyone who felt insulted by my words, I am deeply remorseful.
Going forward i will do better.
Unu biko gbaharam 🙏
