Totally in the cards
Just gonna have to keep playing football and hope the refs don’t recognize it (which they probably won’t, the @NBA wants 6 or 7 finals games because of $$$$ so I expect the refs to be Stevie wonder when the Knicks have the ball)
@SpursReporter@NBA_NewYork Gotta gaslight some falsities into your life to make yourself feel better about being down 0-2.
Gonna follow you just to see the massive cope when the spurs lose
@SpursCulture Can’t even provide a good counter excuse… stats say it, record says it,… but it would hurt too much to give a team their flowers because it would mean admitting other teams ARENT that good
I can accept this 100%, as can many NYK fans I believe.
You just need to convince all of the people who said “OKC vs Spurs is the real finals” people, the “Knicks are playing for 2nd in the finals” crowd,
And let’s not forget the “Knicks just had the easiest run to the finals ever” dipshits.
Given they were stupid enough to believe AND say that in the first place, might just be better to let them find out on their own.
The way some Knicks fans talk, you would think the Knicks won by 35 games 1 and 2.
Some actually you can have dialogue with but it’s rare. These are the ones who can objectively see the margin between both teams is small if anything.
I think it’s possible, for sure. Pacers play really well in clutch moments. Knicks had similar momentum and play in the the regular season- that “just get to the postseason and turn it up then”.
But the Pacers have made changes. Zubac is not Turner- pacers fast paced style won’t be as conducive to zubac. Zu can’t space the floor like Turner can. The pacers will have to replace the bench pieces to get those off minutes because whether they want to admit it or not, Andrew nembhard and tj mcconnell aren’t strong enough bench pieces to hold you consistently.
The good news- the pacers have all season to figure it out. Pacers make playoffs, 5 seed, 44 wins
Right above the wizards at 43 wins
So I asked this question three times during the postseason and all three times yall dismissed me.
So I’ll ask one more time
What on God’s green earth were yall watching that suggested the Knicks didn’t have a chance against the spurs or the Thunder?
@metalhead684@PacersPostUp “Celtics gap year” that their own fanbase disowned and “Hali injury” when they shouldn’t have been there in the first place. Right…
@TheSaurus831 He puts that much weight on, he will start seeing leg problems and ankle problems in 2-3 years. He’s not destined to be healthy for the entire 15 years in this sport as it is, but that might make his career 3-4 years shorter
I will once again say
@OfficialNBARefs
That whole crew from last night needs to be sent back to ref Zimbabwe basketball. Worst hidden OBVIOUS attempt to get the spurs back into the game.
Bastards owe the Knicks like 4 technical foul free throws on TOP of the slaps on Brunson/KAT.
10000%
But the problem is all of Twitter has spent the last 10 months calling
Bridges overrated
KAT zesty
And the Knicks bench useless
So naturally, the braindead cope farmers gonna switch that narrative real quick and pretend we don’t see
All I’m saying is if tatum went 7/25 like Brunson did in a finals game that his team won, twitter would be in a frenzy calling him overrated and having a super team
But i digress
