As a former refugee, the intro of the Illegal Migration Bill upsets me greatly.
Refugees can be an asset to society. We have wonderful refugees who are nurses, doctors, lawyers, engineers etc.

Had to cancel guests booked on guided tour today who just arrived from the US and didnโt think 14 days self isolation was โmandatoryโ. I know we are in tourism but Iโm just not willing to risk it for staff and other guests. These people are in the country and socialising

Ireland has just effectively nationalised its health service in response to the pandemic. Private hospitals are being taken over. Everyone is now promised equal access to treatment, regardless of insurance. A massive change. There should be no going back from this.
