“Research institutions are under pressure, and misinformation is not just spreading - it is being rewarded” (Scott Steen).
Despite this, I had some fun days at the #aps2025 by @APSPhysiology
Also had the extra privilege to present my work at the conference 😊

Had some amazing and inspiring days a bit out of my comfort zone at the Cardiometabolic summit - so extremely happy to win the Best Poster Award.
Thanks a lot to @DCAcademyDK for organising a succesfull summit!

Metabolic profiling is tricky!
Not only is precise identification a difficult process (unlike protein profiling) but the analysis and interpretation of the results is often overwhelming. #CardioSoMe23
So far, I have scratched the surface making a metabolic profiling of plasma and urine from adenine-treated mice for 2 and 4 weeks. I found a time-dependent shift in the type of metabolite that was upregulated in both urine and plasma from 2 to 4 weeks.
